Workflow
A shared process.
From the first conversation to the final grade.
Start with a conversation
Tell me about your film, your timeline and what you have in mind. We’ll discuss the scope and budget before getting started.
Find the direction
We share references and explore the mood of the film, finding a visual direction that feels right for the story.
Prepare the handover
We agree on how to transfer the edit and footage. I’ll guide you through what’s needed and check that everything matches before grading.
Build the grade
I shape the look and balance the film shot by shot, keeping the photography and the flow of each scene in mind.
Review & refine
You review the grade and share your feedback. I refine the images while keeping the overall direction consistent.
Final delivery
Once approved, I prepare the agreed color deliverables, ready for the next stage of your project.
Practical notes
Getting started
Useful to share: project type, running time, edit status, deadline and intended release. You can also reach out before the edit is finished.
Feedback
Timecoded notes and one consolidated feedback list help keep the review process clear.
Handover & delivery
File preparation, delivery formats and the review process are agreed for each project. Changes to the edit after grading starts should be discussed first.
